Creamy Cajun Jambalaya Supreme

Take our Cajun Jambalaya Mix to the next level with this creamy, hearty version packed with vegetables, chicken, and Parmesan cheese. It’s a comforting one-pot meal with bold Cajun flavor.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 celery stalks (with leaves), chopped

  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 large bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Protein

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cubed

Seasoning & Rice

  • 1 package Mad Dash Cajun Jambalaya Mix

  • 1 cup whole milk or half & half

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sauté onion, celery, tomatoes, and bell pepper over medium heat until onions begin to soften.

  2. Add cubed chicken, cover, and cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add milk (or half & half), water, and Cajun Jambalaya Mix.

  4. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, until rice is tender.

  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and let sit for 2 minutes before serving.

Serve warm and enjoy this creamy twist on a Cajun classic.
